It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Permian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Eastlake Falcons. 11 seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory made it two in a row for Permian and bumps their season record up to 20-10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Eastlake, they moved to 26-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Permian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
