Volleyball Recap: Indy F Takes a Loss

The Indy F Fire came up short against the Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-13, 25-13.

Crosspointe Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Moore led the charge by getting 12 digs and five aces. That's the most digs Moore has posted over her last ten matchups.

Indy F now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 22-3-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Indy F will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Colonial Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
