With a playoff win on the line, Divine Savior Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Sharks as they're now sitting on five straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-18.

Divine Savior Academy was led to victory by Fernanda Bergamaschi and Sara Arango. Bergamaschi had 12 assists and three aces, while Arango had three digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Divine Savior Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.

Divine Savior Academy's win bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they dropped their record down to 16-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Divine Savior Academy will face off against Riviera Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Somerset Academy South Homestead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
