The Genesee Bulldogs will head out to take on the Prairie Pirates at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Genesee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15.4 runs per game this season.

Genesee is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Colton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 21-12 to the Wildcats.

Rylie Baysinger made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Sydney Banks, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Prairie played against Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 13-3. As for Prairie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Genesee took their win against Prairie in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
