Football Game Preview: West Hills Wolf Pack vs. Valhalla Norsemen + How To Watch

The West Hills Wolf Pack will venture away from home to square off against the Valhalla Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Hills will be strutting in after a win while Valhalla will be coming in after a loss.

West Hills took a 21-point defeat the last time they faced off against Monte Vista, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolf Pack slipped by the Monarchs 7-6 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Grossmont 38-8. While losing is never fun, the Norsemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 725th, while the Foothillers are ranked 205th).

Even if they lost, Valhalla's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Lorenzo Matos and Liam Hypes, who each picked up one sack apiece.

West Hills' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Valhalla, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

West Hills strolled past Valhalla in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 30-13. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Norsemen's Jackson Newman, who rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown.
