Volleyball Recap: Canyon View Comes Up Short

Canyon View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Apollo Hawks.

Canyon View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Apollo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Canyon View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Green Valley on the 28th. As for Apollo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fairfax on the 28th.
