Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central suffered their biggest loss since April 17th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Oak Park Northmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Northmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

While Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

The defeat snapped Central's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-13 record. As for Oak Park, the win was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-5.

After both having extra time off, Central and Northland Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th. Oak Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
