Softball Recap: Saranac Lake Comes Up Short

Saranac Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beekmantown Eagles. If the Red Storm were looking for revenge after losing 7-5 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Saranac Lake's record is now 0-3. As for Beekmantown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Saranac Lake will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Moriah at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Beekmantown, they will head out to take on Northern Adirondack at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
