After both having extra time off, the Bayfield Wolverines and the Centauri Falcons will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Bayfield walked away with the win (but they looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-10, 25-19.
Bayfield relied on the efforts of Avery Shipman, who had three digs and two aces, and Lauren Rich, who had 16 digs. Shipman is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Centauri can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They blew past Pagosa Springs 3-0.
While Centauri won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-23.
Bayfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Centauri, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-7.
