Woodcreek is 0-7 against Inderkum since September of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Timberwolves will be playing at home against the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Woodcreek comes in on seven and Inderkum on six.
On Friday, Woodcreek took their game with ease, bagging a 45-14 victory over Vista del Lago. Considering the Timberwolves have won three contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Josiah Melendez produced another solid performance rushing for 108 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 208 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 passes. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 75 yards. Woodcreek's leading receiver Ethan Keim was Melendez's top target yet again, picking up 139 receiving yards and two scores.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Woodcreek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 206 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vista del Lago only rushed for 62.
Meanwhile, Inderkum really took it to Bella Vista for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-20 win. The Tigers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Friday was the fourth matchup they've won by 20+ points this season.
Woodcreek better keep an eye on Brody Cole. He was instrumental in Inderkum's win, throwing for 249 yards and three TDs while completing 94.1% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score. Cole has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Asaiah Gibbons also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing touchdown of the season.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Inderkum, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cruise Cole, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Inderkum's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Woodcreek, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Melendez and Cole. Melendez just won't slow down this season and has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 166 passing yards per game. Cole has been a dominant force too and has thrown 18 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 203.3 passing yards per game.
Woodcreek ended up a good deal behind Inderkum in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 21-7. Thankfully for the Timberwolves, Ricky Cole (who threw for 311 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 68 yards and one score on only nine carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
