If Nantucket wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sturgis West, they should've done a better job of containing JoJo Sader. The Navigators put the hurt on the Whalers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday with plenty of help from Sader, who had eight aces and seven digs. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12, 25-18.

Sturgis West's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Nantucket, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Sturgis West will take on St. John Paul II at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Nantucket, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mashpee at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
