Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop Ready Silver Knights vs. Hilliard Davidson Wildcats

The Bishop Ready Silver Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hilliard Davidson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Ready, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Bishop Ready got the win against Columbus School for Girls by a conclusive 3-0. The Silver Knights haven't had any issues with the Unicorns recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

While Bishop Ready won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Hilliard Davidson suffered their biggest loss since September 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Thomas Worthington.

Hilliard Davidson might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Thomas Worthington: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 28-26.

Hilliard Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bishop Ready, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Bishop Ready couldn't quite get it done against Hilliard Davidson when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Silver Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
