Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Snider Falls Despite Big Games from Tatum Miguel and Tiffany Borton

Fort Wayne Snider was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Bellmont Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Fort Wayne Snider ultimately came up short, they really made Bellmont work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 28-26.

Fort Wayne Snider's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tiffany Borton, who had 17 digs and two assists, and Tatum Miguel, who had ten digs. With that strong performance, Borton is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.

Bellmont can attribute much of their success to Quinn Buchan, who had 11 digs.

Fort Wayne Snider's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bellmont, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fort Wayne Snider will take on Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellmont, they will square off against Hamilton Southeastern at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
