Volleyball Recap: Saranac Lake Red Storm vs. Peru Nighthawks        
        
		
             Saranac Lake's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Peru Nighthawks by a score of  3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Red Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Saranac Lake was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 16-25,  25-21.
 Saranac Lake  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peru only served eight.
 Despite the  loss, Peru saw an underclassman step up:  Alysa Darrah  had 20  digs.
 Saranac Lake's record now sits at 7-3. As for Peru, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Saranac Lake has already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  victory against AuSable Valley on the 10th. As for Peru, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  3-0  win against Northern Adirondack on the 10th.
