Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Addy Madson and Kailyn Kline

If Notre Dame Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Sheboygan North on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tritons fell 3-1 to the West De Pere Phantoms on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phantoms this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 24-26, 25-17.

Notre Dame Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kailyn Kline and Addy Madson. Kline had 18 assists and 13 digs, while Madson had 15 assists and six digs.

Notre Dame Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-24 record this season. As for West De Pere, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Notre Dame Academy will take on Green Bay Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West De Pere, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Kaukauna on the 11th.
