Baseball Game Preview: Red Hook Raiders vs. Marlboro Central Dukes

Red Hook is 2-8 against Marlboro Central since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Raiders will square off against the Dukes at 4:15 p.m.

Red Hook is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 9-3 to Roosevelt.

Red Hook saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karl Russell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Marlboro Central never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past Spackenkill 6-0.

Red Hook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Marlboro Central, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3.
