Volleyball Game Preview: Norfolk County Agricultural Rams vs. Cape Cod RVT Crusaders

The Norfolk County Agricultural Rams will square off against the Cape Cod RVT Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Norfolk County Agricultural will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Norfolk County Agricultural won the last time they faced Old Colony RVT and Shivonya Scott did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rams came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday thanks in part to Scott, who had 17 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Norfolk County Agricultural had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Cape Cod RVT and South Shore Vo-Tech had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Crusaders fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Crusaders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Vikings since Wednesday.

Cape Cod RVT took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 18-25, 25-16, 15-4.

Cape Cod RVT's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
