After both having extra time off, the Emporia Spartans and the Maize South Mavericks will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Emporia will be strutting in after a victory while Maize South will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, Emporia was able to grind out a solid win over North, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.
