Basketball Recap: Rancho Dominguez Takes a Loss

Rancho Dominguez lost against San Pedro two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rancho Dominguez Lobos fell 60-53 to the San Pedro Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 642nd, while the Pirates are ranked 315th).

Rancho Dominguez's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for San Pedro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Rancho Dominguez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Pedro, they will face off against Narbonne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in San Pedro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
