Basketball Recap: Paulsboro Comes Up Short

Paulsboro had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Deptford Spartans an easy 32-7 victory. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Paulsboro will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Winslow Township at 11:30 a.m. on December 27th. Deptford will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Cumberland at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
