Softball Recap: Exeter Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Exeter was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Pinkerton Astros, falling 10-1. The Blue Hawks haven't had much luck with the Astros recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Pinkerton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Astros beat Exeter by a score of 11-1 later that day.
