Softball Recap: Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown got themselves on the board against Blue Earth on Monday, but Blue Earth never followed suit. They blew past Blue Earth 12-0. The win was some much needed relief for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Blue Earth, they dropped their record down to 0-15-1 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is set to take on their familiar foe Medford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Buccaneers their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Blue Earth will face off against rival Fairmont at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
