Basketball Game Preview: Ogden International vs. Crane Medical Cougars

Ogden International are headed away from home for the first time to face off against the Crane Medical Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Ogden International is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Orr on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ogden International was beaten by Orr 68-28. Ogden International hasn't had much luck with Orr recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Crane Medical put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 66-36 win over Morgan Park. Fans of the Cougars have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Crane Medical's win came from a few key players Ogden International will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sariah Allen, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 13 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Allen is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiana Simmons, who posted 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Crane Medical's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ogden International, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Ogden International was taken down by Crane Medical 57-15 in their previous meeting back in February. Can Ogden International avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
