Moravia faced Dryden in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Blue Devils simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 61-24. With the Blue Devils ahead 41-18 at the half, the game was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Dryden lost, don't look at Jay Miles. Despite the final result, he rushed for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and one TD. Miles really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards. Carmelo Miles was another key player, rushing for 101 yards and one score.

The win was the third in a row for Moravia, bringing their record up to 3-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 36 points thus far. As for Dryden, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
