Volleyball Recap: Robert C. Byrd Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Robert C. Byrd suffered their biggest defeat since October 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Elkins Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Thursday.

While Robert C. Byrd was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Elkins' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Hannah Currence, who had 12 assists and three aces. That's the most assists she has posted over her last 11 contests.

Robert C. Byrd now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Elkins, the victory got them back to even at 13-13-1.
