Willow Spring has gone a perfect 6-0 against Southeast Raleigh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Willow Spring Storm will be playing in front of their home fans against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Willow Spring is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Southeast Raleigh will be up against a hot Willow Spring team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Willow Spring walked away with a 6-1 victory over Clayton on Friday. That's two games straight that the Storm have won by exactly five runs.

Willow Spring got a great performance from Luke Doreauk as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs Doreauk has allowed since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Bryce Marsh was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Colby Harbin was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Willow Spring was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh lost 15-1 to Cleveland on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost eight in a row.

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Willow Spring, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Willow Spring took their victory against Southeast Raleigh in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0. Does Willow Spring have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeast Raleigh turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
