Baseball Game Preview: Hammond Tornadoes vs. Mandeville Skippers

Hammond is 1-9 against Mandeville since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Hammond will host Mandeville at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hammond fell victim to St. Paul's and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Wolves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Mandeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to Covington.

Mandeville's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.
