Joey Goetz put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Monday. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

Goetz's effort led Olmsted Falls over Avon and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
