Volleyball Recap: Doyline's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

If Doyline was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Magnolia School of Excellence on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Downsville Demons on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Doyline fell to 6-1. As for Downsville, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doyline will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Downsville, they will square off against Parkway at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
