Volleyball Recap: Cape Henry Collegiate Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cape Henry Collegiate can now relate to. They came up short against The Covenant School Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-9.

The Covenant School can attribute much of their success to Kalley Mcnish, who had 13 digs and three assists. Mcnish is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Cape Henry Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for The Covenant School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Cape Henry Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Covenant School, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Fredericksburg Christian on the 6th.
