Dylan Brown was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
