Alamo Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wagner Thunderbirds, falling 61-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mules this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-21 back in January.
Several Mules players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mary Chambless, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Berkley Hart, who scored 20 points and three blocks.
It was another big night for La Sneed, who went 9 for 16 on her way to 21 points along with six assists and six steals for Wagner. The game was Sneed's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jenae Moore was another key player, going 5 of 12 en route to 15 points and three steals.
Alamo Heights' loss dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Wagner, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 29-3.
