Baseball Recap: Lisle Comes Up Short

Lisle fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Reed-Custer on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Lisle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-24-1. As for Reed-Custer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-12.

Lisle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-6 victory against St. Edward on the 15th. As for Reed-Custer, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Prairie Central on the 16th.
