Volleyball Game Preview: Galena Bears vs. Billings Wildcats

The Galena Bears will square off against the Billings Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Galena is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Galena proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past Exeter 3-2.

Meanwhile, Billings was able to grind out a solid victory over Golden City on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Billings took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15.

Billings' win bumped their record up to 8-9-3. As for Galena, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10-3.

Galena might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Billings when the teams last played on October 2nd. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
