Basketball Recap: Cloudland Comes Up Short

Cloudland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 71-32 defeat at the hands of the Mitchell Mountaineers. The matchup marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cloudland's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Mitchell, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

When Cloudland and Mitchell next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cloudland will try to stop North Greene's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mitchell will take on Mountain Heritage and their seven-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
