Basketball Game Preview: Bayshore Bruins vs. Southeast Seminoles

The Bayshore Bruins will challenge the Southeast Seminoles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Bayshore and six for Southeast dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, Bayshore was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 34-28 to Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy.

Meanwhile, Southeast played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 61-33 loss at the hands of Parrish Community. The Seminoles were down 44-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Bayshore will have to keep a close watch on Skyia Robinson and Zion McNeal, a pair of players who had a big impact on Southeast's prior game. Robinson posted 15 points, while McNeal had 11 points. Robinson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Bayshore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
