Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valencia). Everything went their way against the Highland Hornets on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their two-run performance the match before.

Zaylon Zamora made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Ancel Rossell was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Valencia is 4-1 when Rossell posts two or more runs, but 6-13 otherwise. Pryce Henry was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
