Soccer Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

After flying high against Springfield on Monday, Northeast came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Rossview Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Northeast couldn't quite close it out.

They hit Rossview with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from J'Vonn White, Victor Reed, and Joao Guilherme Castelo Branco.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Rossview, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season.

Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rossview, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Clarksville on the 8th.
