Soccer Game Preview: Nederland vs. Campion Academy

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Nederland challenge Campion Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Nederland is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Monday, they were much more limited against STEM School Highlands Ranch on Thursday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Campion Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) two weeks ago. Their defense stepped up to hand Clear Creek a 7-0 shutout.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nederland fell to 2-1. As for Campion Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went Nederland's way against Campion Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Nederland made off with a 4-0 victory. Will Nederland repeat their success, or does Campion Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
