Volleyball Game Preview: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Perry Commodores

The Lima Senior Spartans will face off against the Perry Commodores at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Lima Senior made easy work of Waite and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lima Senior was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Perry posted their closest victory since September 10, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Calvary Christian 2-1.

Lima Senior's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Perry, their win bumped their record up to 2-16.

Everything went Lima Senior's way against Perry in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Lima Senior made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Commodores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
