Football Recap: Hernando Piles Up the Points Against Hollins + How To Watch

Hernando never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Hollins on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 47-14 victory over the Royals. The Leopards have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Hernando's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jerry Brown led the charge by rushing for 119 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards Brown has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamoni Dotson, who gained 113 total yards.

Hernando didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Carlon Arnold, Michael Brown, and Blake Williams picked up one apiece. Arnold has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last seven times he's played.

The win got Hernando back to even at 1-1. As for Hollins, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
