After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Chapel, Ocean View was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 22-17 win over the Estancia Eagles. For the Seahawks, this counts as revenge for the 40-0 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Dean Northam threw for 89 yards and one TD while completing 71.4% of his passes. Zack Zentgraf was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Trevor Luapo rushed for 157 yards and one touchdown.

Although Estancia took the loss, they still got scores from Bennett Molica and Jeff Brown.

Ocean View's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Estancia, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ocean View will venture away from home to square off against Rancho Alamitos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Estancia, they will head out to face off against Santa Ana Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.11 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
