Soccer Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wickenburg Wranglers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Heroes couldn't quite close it out.

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wickenburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. John Paul II Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. Wickenburg also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Highland Prep West at 4:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
