Volleyball Recap: Logan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

If Logan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Man on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Sherman Tide on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-9, 12-25, 25-11, 25-13.

Emma Russell produced another solid performance getting eight digs and two aces for Sherman. Russell is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Audrina Smith, who had 14 digs and three aces.

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Sherman, their record now sits at 10-3.

Looking ahead, Logan will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against River View at 5:30 p.m. As for Sherman, they will challenge Tug Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
