Academy for Classical Education took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Central Chargers 38-6 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gryphons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Academy for Classical Education found their leader in underclassman Ace Hatcher, who threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 73 yards. Hatcher was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards. Another player making a difference was Brice Whitley, who picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Academy for Classical Education was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
