It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mooresville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-10 win over the Northwest Guilford Vikings. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Devils who have now won ten matchups in a row.

Mooresville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ja'Darius Mccombs, who rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Mccombs also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.
