Football Game Recap: New Hampton School vs. St. Paul's

Everything went St. Paul's's way against New Hampton School on Friday as they made off with a 49-21 victory. St. Paul's were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

St. Paul's' offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 35 first-half points. New Hampton School wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 35-7 heading into the break. St. Paul's put the match away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and seven points allowed from the defense. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 4-0. With their first loss of the season, New Hampton School fell to 3-1.

After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. St. Paul's will take on Cushing Academy at home at 2:30 PM next week. As for New Hampton School, they will face off against Hebron Academy.
