Football Recap: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Lake Havasu Knights
Copper Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Lake Havasu Knights, falling 49-8. One positive for the Aztecs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Lake Havasu's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jurzie Krown, who rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown. Those 70 rushing yards gave Krown a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaiyah Smith, who picked up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown.
