Volleyball Recap: Davis Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Ridge, Davis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Highland Rams.

Davis' offense was headlined by Alex Harris and Mirella Gonzales Carrillo, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Claire Shupe and her eight assists. Kate Donigan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Davis' win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Davis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Herriman on the 5th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Tooele on the 6th.
