Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Justice

For the first time this season, Edison will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Justice Wolves at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Edison's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Edison fell victim to George C. Marshall and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Statesmen.

Meanwhile, Justice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Rock Ridge. That's two games in a row now that Justice have lost by exactly two goals.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Justice, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Edison took their win against Justice in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
